Cabe Jawa (Long Pepper)

Long pepper is a spice related to pepper and cubeb, and belongs to the betel leaf family. Javanese chili is native to Indonesia, popular as a medicinal plant for gardens and also grows in lowland secondary forests (up to 600 meters above sea level). This plant has the advantage of being able to grow in dry, rocky soil. The presence of stone embankments in rice field embankments can be utilized as a natural growing medium for herbal chili.
