Lada Hitam (Black Pepper)
Pepper is also known as pepper or sahang. Pepper is rich in chemical compounds such as pepper oil, fatty oil, and starch. Pepper has a slightly bitter, spicy, warm, and antipyretic taste. Bangka Belitung, Lampung, Jambi, Aceh, and East Java are the largest pepper-producing regions in Indonesia. This crop is a global trade commodity, with over 80% of Indonesia's pepper production exported.
